Persepolis (2007) - dir. Marjane Satrapi & Vincent Paronnaud
The most enjoyable part of this is certainly the animation. The Biopic structure with cast-off references to surviving the Islamic Revolution didn’t go over so well in my eyes. Some scenes were incredible and some pointless. The film itself was inconsistently good.

This is a great movie but I found the graphic novel to be much better. As with most adaptations they left out and changed several things.
